Almost everyone is either working on a night shift or has worked on a night shift at some point in their life. One of the main advantages of working at night is that there’s a lot less distractions compared to working during the day where there are a lot of noise pollution and triggers for a virtual employee.
With the rapid increase of popularity of the outsourcing industry, the Philippines have adapted the ability to staff in all 3 shifts:
- Day Shift – also known as the normal shift 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Mid Shift – working hours that starts in the middle of the day, usually at 1:00 PM
- Graveyard Shift – commonly referred to as the night shift
