Let’s debunk the myth surrounding outsourcing. To put it in simpler terms, it is when a business leverage a third-party vendor for services or product. We’ve been in this business long enough to know that it is pretty much a concept that has not been adapted too much by most of the businesses in the US.

Not a lot of people are aware but there are different types of outsourcing and here are the differentiation between the types:

Project-based Outsourcing

When a company would come to us or to other outsourcing firms to get a particular task or project that needs to be done or completed while utilizing resources available to them for a short period.

Full-Time Employment Outsourcing

In this model, outsourcing firms like ours provide services where the client can utilize the HR arm in a way that we do all the recruitment, employment relations, onboarding and hiring, and others while the selected candidate will function as an employee of our client. The advantages of this setup include less worry about housing, benefits, and overhead.

Retainer-based Outsourcing

For this setup, when there is recurring or re-occurring work from a client with less time to be spent than that of a full-time employee. This is usually the route taken by businesses when the task to be done does not make sense to hire a full-time employee due to the light workload or expertise needed.
