Ryan Dohrn is a motivational speaker who has been a sales and marketing strategist for 28 years. An Emmy winner, and a best-selling author among others, he is also one of our most valued customers. In this episode, he will share how outsourcing has tremendously helped him with his business.
Just like any other entrepreneur in the US, Ryan had a full-time team working for him. He admitted that it costs a lot of money to maintain his full-time team and that is becoming a dilemma. He was in search of a more cost-effective solution to scale his business.
But after talking to Mike and Kevin about an outsourcing option, he made a smart and strategic decision of choosing to outsource a virtual team in the Philippines under 032 Outsourcing. But after working with his virtual team, he addressed the misconception about outsourced jobs that the quality is unreliable because our team was able to partner with good hires to help his business grow.
Mike asked if the talent and work quality given by the team in the Philippines is similar to the team he can find in the US. Here’s what he has to stay based on his experience:
I think it is better because I feel like a lot of the people in the US just don’t wanna work. And because of that, I think that you get kind of shoddy work. It’s just the truth. It’s not that we don’t have great people in the US. I just find your team e the extra mile to prove that they gonna do good work. They take a lot of pride in their work. I don’t see people turning over. I’ve been talking to the same people for months and months, well now years.
He also highlighted the English communication skills that his virtual team has whether written, verbal, or listening. And in the span of 2 to 3 years of working with them, he only recalled one time when there was an error in their work and it was just a minor mistake too.
Kevin asked him what would be his advice to people who will be outsourcing for the first time. He enthusiastically said that they should PLAN! PLAN! PLAN! A plan that is well written like a screenplay, laying down exactly what you need and what your goals are to be able to get the results that you need or even better.
